Four bladed fixed propeller was found 80% fouled seagrass/slime, 20% with barnacles & 100% fouled with salt and was polished with the usage of propeller polishing system with 3M diamond disc pads.
Sea chest gratings were found up to 100% fouled with marine growth and were cleaned. All grids were in position including bolts and nuts with securing arrangement.
Vertical sides and curves were found up to 80% fouled with sea grass and marine growth.
Flat bottom was found 80% fouled with marine growth.
Rope-guard was found in position.
Tail-shaft was found without any leakage of oil and free from any entanglements.
Rudder was found fouled up to 80% with sea grass. Weld joints were intact and rudder plug was in position.
Cathodic protection: Vessel is using ICCP.
