SEA EMPEROR, LOME

Sea swell up to 1.5 meters, struggle of diving team due to the current gusts especially at the appurtenances with cutting edges which are cleaned with mono brush system: bilge keels, rudder and propeller (propeller was also polished with diamond disc pads); vessel’s submerged hull, sides and curves were fouled with rough barnacles up to 4cm thick which were cleaned by brush kart system with appropriate brushes as not to damage the antifouling.

Bow thruster gratings opened in order to polish the propeller and clean the tunnel and were closed and secured in position upon completion.

Αυξημένη στάθμη της  θάλασσας  έως 1,5 μέτρα. Αγώνας  της ομάδας κατάδυσης λόγω  των κυμάτων κυρίως στις πλευρές κατά τον καθαρισμό των παρατροπίδιων, του τιμονιού και της προπέλας με το σύστημα μονής βούρτας. Τα ύφαλα, οι πλευρές και οι κούρμπες βρέθηκαν καλυμένες με πεταλίδες έως 4 εκ. πάχος.

Καθαρίστηκαν από το σύστημα brush kart, ώστε να μη προκληθεί ζημιά στο αντιρρυπαντικό υφαλόχρωμα. Η πρωραία έλικα ανοίχτηκε με σκοπό να γυαλιστεί η προπέλα και να καθαριστεί η σήραγγα και έκλεισε με το πέρας των εργασιών.
