Vertical sides, curves and flat bottom were found heavily fouled with noodle type marine growth, barnacles and sea grass. Cathodic protection: Anodes were found approximately 95% depleted, which were replaced. 40 new pieces were fitted on the aft area and on the rudder. The underwater cleaning of flat bottom, vertical sides and curves was carried out by hydraulic brush kart system.

Οι πλευρές, οι κούρμπες και η επίπεδη βάση βρέθηκαν βαριά λερωμένα με «φιδέ», στρειδώνα και πρασινάδα.
Καθοδική προστασία: Τα ανόδια βρέθηκαν φθαρμένα περίπου κατά 95% τα οποία και αντικαταστάθηκαν. 40 νέα κομμάτια τοποθετήθηκαν στην πρύμνη και στο τιμόνι.
Ο υποβρύχιος καθαρισμός των υφάλων πραγματοποιήθηκε με το υδραυλικό σύστημα βουρτσών.
