Flat bottom found 80% fouled with barnacles and marine growth; which was cleaned. Vertical sides & Curves: from 4mtrs draft mark and below was found 100% fouled sea grass from 0.3cm up to 2cm thick; which were cleaned. No abnormalities were observed on the shell plating and welding seams. Sea chests: Exterior Area was found clean. Interior area-port side: Cooling system – heat sink spirals found 100% fouled with barnacles, mussels and marine growth; which were cleaned. Four bladed fixed propeller: Boss Cone: Found 80% fouled with sea grass. Blades were found 30% fouled with sea grass and 100% fouled with salt. Propeller was cleaned and polished with diamond disc pads. No cracks, cavitation, missing pieces or other abnormalities were observed. Rudder found 30% fouled with sea grass; which was cleaned. Bilge keels found in good condition. Anodes were found 70% depleted. No abnormalities were observed on the mewis duct. No entanglements or leakage of oil was observed in the tail-shaft.
