Vessel’s echo sounder was not found in working condition therefore the diving team removed the old instrument. The cable was found cut and burned. Vessel’s crew and diving team passed the new cable through the instrument pipe. The new cable was connected with the wire and was waterproofed. The new instrument was installed successfully. The paint coating on the periphery of the instrument’s hole found in poor condition and therefore epoxy was used on the surrounding area to avoid future corrosion.
