Above Waterline: Found clean with no abnormalities observed above the vessel’s waterline.
Vertical Sides & Curves: Inspected and found with light sea grass (10% area, up to 3 mm thick) and light barnacles & marine growth (5% area, up to 5 mm thick); hull paint coating in normal condition.
Flat Bottom: Inspected and found with light barnacles covering 2–5% of the area, with thicknesses up to 5 mm; hull paint coating in normal condition.
Propeller: Five-bladed fixed propeller blades and boss cone were found fouled with moderate barnacles (40% area, up to 5 mm thick) and a full layer of salt (100% area, up to 1 mm thick). Fouling was removed using a hydraulic mono brush system, and the propeller was polished using 3M diamond disk pads.
Rudder: The rudder was found with light barnacles & sea grass covering 30% of the area, with a thickness of up to 5 mm. The rudder was cleaned using a hydraulic mono brush system.
Sea Chest Gratings: A total of 7 sea chest gratings (3 port side LSC, 3 starboard side HSC, and 1 ESC) were cleaned; all grids were in position including bolts and nuts with securing arrangement, with no damages or missing bolts observed. Gratings were 20–40% covered with barnacles & sea grass with thicknesses up to 3 mm.
