A damage on the flat bottom (port side) was observed located approx.. 1 meter above the bilge keel and extending 2 meters towards the flat bottom commencing from water ballast tank no 01 port in way of and between frame no 90-97, extending towards water ballast tank no 02 port in between frame no 82-90 and further extending up to water ballast tank no 03. port in between frame no 76-82.
The port side bilge keel was torn, dented and ripped open in several places.
Shell plating impact damages consisting of inwards dents and distortions were identified on the port side extending 2 meters inwards to the flat bottom.
A crack on the shell plating was located on the stern of water ballast tank no 03 extending approx. 3-4 meters of length.
On the shell plating in way of water ballast tank no 01, four underwater temporary sealing positions were observed firmly in place and another two shell plating cracks were also observed properly sealed over.
