UNDERWATER HULL CLEANING REPORT

Vertical Sides & Curves: Both sides were found with heavy barnacles & sea grass covering 95–100% of the area, with thicknesses up to 10 mm. The area was cleaned using a brush kart system with 2 pieces of brushes.

Flat Bottom: The whole flat bottom was found with heavy barnacles & marine growth covering 100% of the area, with thicknesses up to 20 mm. The area was cleaned using a brush kart system with 2 pieces of brushes.

Propeller: Four-bladed fixed propeller blades and boss cone were found fouled with heavy barnacles & sea grass (70% area, up to 5 mm thick) and a full layer of salt (100% area, up to 1 mm thick). Fouling was removed using a hydraulic mono brush system, and the propeller was polished using 3M diamond disk pads.

Rudder: The rudder was found with heavy sea grass & barnacles covering 50% of the area, with a thickness of up to 3 mm. The rudder was cleaned using a hydraulic mono brush system.

Sea Chest Gratings: A total of 5 sea chest gratings were cleaned; all grids were in position including bolts and nuts with securing arrangement, with no damages or missing bolts observed. Gratings were 60% covered with barnacles with a thickness up to 5 mm.

Overboards: Overboards were found slightly fouled and were cleaned.

Cathodic Protection: Vessel is using an ICCP system.
